Mother/Son Bowling
This was Titus' and my third year to battle it out down the alley. We have a good time, and more importantly to Titus, get free nachos and pop! Every year our scores creep closer together...but make no mistake, I still won. :)
Daddy/Daughter Dance
This was the
long awaited year that Tess and Dave got to begin their annual dancing date. (She has been talking about this for no less than 2 years.) Tess picked out her dress in early March and spent the next few weeks making sure Daddy didn't see it. She did wear it 6 days early for Easter, but she added a sweater and different hair do so as to not ruin the surprise of
the night. To mark the occasion she lost her first upper middle tooth the night before. We hid in her room as Daddy arrived home from work so he wouldn't spoil the surprise. We did hair, and nails, and make-up. She sent me upstairs to make sure Daddy was "doing" his hair. Then Daddy headed to the front door with corsage in hand to pick up his date. He and Tessie went to Kaldera for dinner and then went on to have a magical time at their 1st annual, Daddy/Daughter Dance. He's setting a high standard for any would be suitors...on purpose :)
